In January 2018, together with some friends, we were brainstorming about a food business that will serve a unique blend of Mexican and Asian flavors and cater to the Filipino taste buds. We also conceptualized the idea of creating an edible platter to serve our dishes. After testing and experimenting, Crispy Basket was born. It is a tortilla wrap deep fried and shaped into a bowl which looked like a basket.

In February 8, 2018, Crispy Basket opened its doors to the public and was situated in a humble 5 sqm stall in a food court in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. We were amazed and flattered by the acceptance of the different clientele we serve daily.

Inspired by the acceptance and enthusiasm of our diners, we opened our 2nd store located right in front of De La Salle University in September 2019, and in October 2021, store No.3 was put up along Burol Main.

The eruption of Taal Volcano and the lockdown due to the worldwide pandemic did not deter us. We closed our doors for a couple of months making sure our staff and crew were compensated. In May 2020, we reopened first to distribute food to the frontliners, and then started accepting orders for delivery/takeout. 

Although we had to close two branches due to the pandemic, our remaining and upcoming stores will continue to serve our growing clientele. 

We dedicate our efforts to improving our food and service. Our customers’ happiness is our pleasure.
